Reflective Fish

You Will Need

  • An Old CD or Tin Foil

  • Cardboard

  • Paint

  • String

  • Paper

  • Pen

  • PVA Glue

1) Draw the outline of a fish or use the template below.

2) Cut out the fish.

3) Hold the paper fish on top of a piece of cardboard and trace around it.

4) Cut out your cardboard fish.

5) Paint the fish a colour of your choice and leave to dry. Once the fish has dried, turn it over and paint the other side.

I painted my fish white, but you can choose whichever colour you like!

6) Carefully cut an old CD into different sized pieces. If you cant use a CD - use some Kitchen Foil.

7) Using a Pen, make a small hole in the top of the fish and thread some string through it.

This will be used to hang it up.

8) Cover one side of the Fish in PVA Glue and start to place the CD/Foil pieces onto the fish.

Leave to dry.

9) Turn the fish over, cover in PVA Glue and place the left over CD/foil Pieces onto the fish so that it is fully covered.

Leave to dry.

10) Hang the fish up and enjoy watching it swim in the light!
